Soundtree are excited to announce the launch of a new music single in collaboration with Chivas Regal and in support of Film Aid International. ‘It’s Our Time’ is the soundtrack to the ‘Here’s To Real Friends’ films and has been created by award-winning composer and musical director Peter Raeburn and BAFTA winning composer and music producer Nick Foster. The track is now available to download on iTunes with 10% of the proceeds from the sale of the single going to support FilmAid International. You can purchase the song at this link:

The specially commissioned song features in the trailers for the beautiful and cinematic short films which are part of Chivas Regal’s ‘Here’s to Real Friends’ campaign. The short films – ’Here’s to Twinkle’ and ’Here’s to Big Bear’ – were directed by the Academy award-winning short film maker Joachim Back (‘The New Tenants’) and are centred on two stories about modern male friendships – and their trials, tribulations and idiosyncrasies.
Featuring Raeburn on vocals, the track is a slice of euphoric soul-pop driven by punchy piano, irresistible hooks and melodies. The track was produced at Soundtree studios and mixed to perfection by Mark Rankin who has previously worked with chart toppers including Adele and Florence and the Machine.
Peter Raeburn says, “The best ingredients in pulling something like this together are great collaborators and a strong idea, luckily this was the case for this project. I was excited for us to create a song about friendship and brotherhood. The music had to embody nostalgia and also capture the spirit of their adventures.”
Chivas Regal, an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival, is committed to supporting FilmAid International in its mission to help, educate and inspire communities in need through the power of film.
FilmAid International is a non-profit organisation that uses the power of film and media to transcend language and literacy, bringing life-saving information, psychological relief and much-needed hope to refugees and other communities in need around the globe.
