Peter Raeburn has been chosen to create a score for a live performance of Russell Brand’s new children’s book ‘Trickster Tales – The Pied Piper Of Hamelin’ which is showing for one night only at the Royal Albert Hall on 14th November.
You can read the press release below and follow the link if you would like to purchase tickets:
A family-friendly theatrical spectacular, suitable for tricksters young and old.
For one night only, join Russell Brand and a legion of tricksters in a night of magic and storytelling like no other, as they take you on a bewitching, electrifying, head-spinning visit to the far-away city of Hamelin.
You’ll be enchanted and revolted in equal measure by the host of characters you meet along the way: the anarchic rats, the arrogant townspeople, sharp-eyed Sam and of course the Pied Piper himself, all brought to life in Brand’s inimitable style.
Featuring live art by award-winning children’s illustrator Chris Riddell (Goth Girl, The Edge Chronicles), original music by celebrated composer Peter Raeburn and a host of other surprises, this is a once in a lifetime extravaganza you’ll never forget.
All profits from the night will be donated to a range of literacy charities, with a number of free and discounted tickets made available to children’s charities, volunteer organisations and schools.
All tickets include a copy of Russell Brand’s retelling of The Pied Piper of Hamelin, illustrated by award-winner Chris Riddell – the first in their Trickster Tales series.
