Soundtree have created the music for Stella Artois's 'Crying Jean' hit Superbowl 2011 commercial. Directed by Ringan Letwidge of Rattling Stick and created by Mother London, the song featured in the spot was written and produced by Nick Foster and Evan Jolly at Soundtree, with lyrics by Oliver Chanarin and Peter Raeburn.
We're delighted to announce that The Lie has been officially selected for the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. Directed by Joshua Leonard and featuring an all-star indie cast, the film's soundtrack was composed by Soundtree's creative director, Peter Raeburn, with additional music from Nick Foster and Oli Julian.

Written in collaboration with Matt Sweeney, whose other collaborations include Bonnie 'Prince' Billy' (Superwolf), Billy Corgan (Zwan) and Cat Power, 'At The Drop Of The Day' forms part of the soundtrack to this honest and moving love story based around a couple who are fighting to keep their marriage from falling apart. Sainsbury's have decided to release 'All Through The Night', the music from their 'Perfect Christmas' TV ad, as a single! The song, featuring the Colne Valley Male Voice Choir, was produced and arranged by Soundtree's Nick Foster.
Soundree created the soundrack to Skoda's latest campaign for the Fabia vRS, directed by Nick Gordon for Somesuch & Co. In a nod to the iconic Skoda 'Cake' commercial, a heavy metal rendition of Julie Andrew's 'My Favourite Things' plays over a workshop of a rather different kind.
Peter Raeburn and David Rodger picked up a Silver award for Best Use Of Recorded Music at the 2010 BTAA Craft Awards, hosted in central London. The award was given for their work for Cadbury's much acclaimed TV spot for their 'Spots v Stripes' campaign, featuring an array of unusually sporty underwater creatures.
Directed by award-winning director Jonathan Glazer, VW's new TV ad combines the rough edges of gritty urban hip-hop with the smooth lines and sensuous movements of tango. Roc C's 'Don't Stop', sourced and edited by Soundtree, was the track that brought the necessary rawness to this tough but beautiful advert. You can see how they made it here.
